Salem Style is a friend and crochet studio from witch country, Massachusetts! When we first started Loxley and Leaf we talked with her at length about what we wanted to be and how we could work together, so it only made sense to us that when we launched they’d be our first featured maker. Over coffee, and we do mean COFFEE with caps on, we hammered out some ideas and then we set to work making them.
We talked a bit, and chose to support Boston's North Shore Alliance of Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual and Transgender Youth with proceeds from the Salem Style line. nAGLY was founded in 1992 to provide a safe fun place on the North Shore for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and Queer Youth; and is a place for youth ages 14 – 23 a welcoming, safe & fabulous place for those who identify as gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, questioning for those who live, go to school and/or work on the North Shore of Massachusetts. A portion of proceeds from each and every purchase of the Salem Style line on Loxley and Leaf support nAGLY!
